ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY

At Scope Group, we recognise the impact our work can have on the environment and the responsibility we have to do better.

Across demolition, asbestos removal, civil works, and disaster response, we are committed to delivering our services in a way that minimises environmental harm, supports sustainable outcomes, and contributes positively to the communities we work in. This includes prioritising the reuse and redistribution of materials wherever possible, with items such as windows, sinks, kitchenettes, doors and furniture donated to organisations including Habitat for Humanity ReStore, Nelson Environment Centre Community Foodbank, and Menzshed to support local families, community initiatives and social projects.

As we continue to expand our operations across New Zealand, we are also building relationships with local marae and community groups to ensure the materials we are responsible for can create meaningful value beyond the worksite.

Sustainability isn’t a one-off initiative for us, it’s an ongoing commitment to improving how we operate every day while creating positive environmental and social outcomes for the communities we live and work in.
