We want to thank the Scope Group and their team managed by Tariho Raihania very much for the great and efficient job they have done with the Tuakana Demolition on the Napier Hill.
We are neighbours of the demolition site and were concerned about the demolition process and how it would affect us during the demolition phase. We need not have been worried! Tariho the Site Manager, ensured that the demolition and clearing of the grounds was quiet, clean and timely to the best of their ability. Tariho communicated with us from the beginning and throughout the process ensuring that we were not disturbed or affected in any way. He was very obliging.We were amazed at how smoothly the demolition went, that there was the minimum of noise considering the machinery and methods that were required to be used, and we did not experience any dust being a neighbouring property, or traffic disruptions.We were impressed by the overall professionalism of Tariho and the expert skills of Glen whom operated the demolition machinery. It was quite addictive watching Glen’s skills with gently bringing this building down. All in all we were hardly aware that the building beside us was being demolished!
It has been a pleasure meeting and communicating with Tariho and it was very reassuring knowing that he was managing this interesting demolition project. I worked with Scope Group on the demolition of a Hangar in a live airport environment. The project required strict controls to prevent any lightweight building materials from being blown onto the airfield and to stop dust migration – these risks were managed successfully throughout the project. The dilapidated building provided plenty of challenges including unforeseen asbestos and structural elements in poor condition which required several changes in methodology. Throughout the project and challenges, Dans communication was excellent, providing regular updates and mitigating risks. Despite all the challenges faced, the team delivered the project on time and budget. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommended Scope Group to anyone with a complex demolition project

Scope Group provided excellent preparatory work for the renewal of our weather radar in Canterbury. Engaged as a subcontractor they managed the installation of concrete foundations for the radar tower site, and demolished a 19m tall concrete block tower near to the new foundations.
The scaffolding and demolition work was time critical to the overall project’s success, and James and his team stepped up to make sure the tower was levelled, and site cleared, by the due date. This was achieved despite some weather interruptions and the tower putting up a good fight! I’d certainly recommend Scope Group to anyone with a challenging project.
